Meowth (Pure Steel Type)

Galarian Meowth is a pure steel type. This is a change from the original version of Meowth, which is a pure normal type. This version evolves into Perrserker at level 28.

In terms of design, it changes into a greyish-brown color. It also adds a beard and yellow eyes.

Ponyta (Psychic) & Rapidash (Psychic/ Fairy)

Galarian Ponyta is a pure psychic type. Galarian Rapidash is a psychic and fairy combination. This is a change from the original versions, which are pure fire types.

In terms of design, the red and orange of their tails turn into purple and pink. Both have more visible unicorn horns and much longer hair.

Slowpoke (Psychic), Slowbro (Poison/Psychic), & Slowking (Poison/Psychic)

Galarian Slowpoke is a pure psychic type. Galarian Slowbro and Slowking are poison and psychic combinations. This is a change from the original versions of all three, which are water and psychic combinations.

In terms of design, the new Slowpoke add yellow to their head and tails. The new Slowbro add purple to their head, hands, and tail. Their shell also moves from their tail to their hand. The new version of Slowking adds a much different-looking purple-grey shell on their heads.

Farfetch’d (Fighting)

Galarian Farfetch’d is a pure fighting type. This is change from the original version, which is a normal and flying combination. It evolves into Sirfetch’d after it lands three critical hits in one battle.

In terms of design, the new Farfetch’d are a much darker brown than the originals. They also carry a much larger leak.

Weezing (Poison/ Fairy)

Galarian Weezing is a poison and fairy combination. This is a change from the original version, which is a pure poison type.

In terms of design, the new Weezing change into a dark grey color. It also adds what look like top hats to their heads, which releases poisonous gas.

Mr. Mime (Ice/ Psychic)

Galarian Mr. Mime is an ice and psychic combination. This is change from the original version, which is a psychic and fairy combination. It evolves into Mr. Rime starting at level 42.

In terms of design, the new Mr. Mime are mostly blue and white. They also add a diamond to the middle of their chests.

Articuno (Psychic/ Flying), Zapdos (Fighting/ Flying) & Moltres (Dark/ Flying)

Galarian Articuno is a psychic and flying combination, Galarian Zapdos is a fighting and flying combination, Galarian Moltres is a dark and flying combination. This is different from the original versions. Articuno is an ice and flying combination. Zapdos is an electric and flying combination. Moltres is a fire and flying combination.

In terms of design, the new Articuno change color to purple and black. The new Moltres change colors to black and pink. The new Zapdos change colors to black and and orangey-red.

Corsola (Ghost)

Galarian Corsola is a pure ghost type. This is different from the original version, which is a water and rock type. It evolves into Cursola at level 38.

In terms of design, the new Corsola turn from pink to pure white.

Zigzagoon (Dark/ Normal) & Linoone (Dark/ Normal)

Galarian Zigzagoon is a dark and normal combination. Galarian Linoone is a dark and normal combination. This is different than the original versions, which are pure normal types. It evolves into Obstagoon starting at level 35 when levelled up at night.

In terms of design, they change from beige and brown to white and black.

Darumaka (Ice), Standard Mode Darmanitan (Ice) & Zen Mode Darmanitan (Ice/ Fire)

Galarian Darumaka and Galarian Standard Mode Darmanitan are pure ice types. Galarian Zen Mode Darmanitan is an ice and fire combination. This is different than the original versions. Darumaka and Galarian Standard Mode Darmanitan are pure fire types. Zen Mode Darmanitan is a fire and psychic combination.

In terms of design, Darumaka and Standard Mode Darmanitan change colors to white and blue. Zen Mode Darmanitan changes to white and orange.

Yamask (Ground/ Ghost)

Galarian Yamask is a ground and ghost combination. This is different from the original version, which is a pure ghost type. It evolves into Runerigus.

In terms of design, the eyes turn purple and the clay mask is replaced with a stone tablet.

Stunfisk (Ground/ Steel)

Galarian Stunfisk is a ground and steel combination. The original version of the character is a ground and electric combination.

In terms of design, it changes to a dark grey color with green spots.
