Each Generation has given us unique ones that are often featured on the cover-art and branding for the games. Which Legendary Pokemon are you? Mewtwo
Mewtwo is psychic type that was introduced in the first Generation. Out of all the legendary Pokemon, it is definitely one of the most recognizable. This is due to it being the main focus of the first Pokemon movie, which was called Mewtwo Strikes Back. It was also the main legendary for the first generation of fans.
Mewtwo was scientifically created and is closely related to Mew. It does not evolve into anything but it has two Mega Evolution forms: Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y.
Articuno
Articuno is an Ice and Flying type that was introduced in the first Generation. It is one of the three legendary birds of Kanto, alongside Zapdos and Moltres. Specifically, it is known as the ice bird or the blue bird.
It does not evolve into anything but does have a Galarian form, which is a Psychic and Flying Combination. The Galarian version changes color to being primarily lavender with black highlights.
In the anime, Articuno has made several appearances, including being one of the main focuses of the second movie, The Power of One. We also see Ash Ketchum and his Charizard battle one in the episode titled Numero Uno Articuno.
Zapdos
Zapdos is an Electric and Flying type that was introduced in the first Generation. It is one of the three legendary birds of Kanto, alongside Articuno and Moltres. Specifically, it is known as the electric bird or the yellow bird.
It does not evolve into anything but does have a Galarian form, which is a Fighting and Flying combination. The Galarian version changes color to a reddish-orange with black highlights.
In the anime, Zapdos has made several appearances, including being one of the main focuses of the second movie, The Power of One. Ash and Goh also battled one in the episode titled A Crackling Raid Battle!.
Moltres
Moltres is a Fire and Flying type that was introduced in the first Generation. It is one of the three legendary birds of Kanto, alongside Zapdos and Articuno. Specifically, it is known as the flaming bird or the orange bird.
It does not evolve into anything but does have a Galarian form, which is a Dark and Flying combination. The Galarian version changes color to black and scarlett.
In the anime, Moltres has made several appearances, including being one of the main focuses of the second movie, The Power of One. Ash, Goh, and Gary battled one in the episode titled Advice to Goh!.
