This was said by Mewtwo and it is a quote that rings true in everyday life. It doesn’t matter who your family is or where you came from. What matters is your actions and how you carry yourself as a person moving forward.
2) “We do have a lot in common. The same earth, the same air, the same sky. Maybe if we started looking at what’s the same, instead of looking at what’s different, well, who knows?”
This was surprisingly said by Meowth and it is very deep. If people focused more on the things that we have in common instead of the things that we differentiate on, the world would be a better place.
3) “There is no sense in going out of your way to get somebody to like you“
This was said by Ash Ketchum and is a good lesson for young people. If someone is going to like you, you want them to like you for you. Don’t try to be someone that you are not, just to try and gain acceptance.
4) “A wildfire destroys everything in its path. It will be the same with your powers unless you learn to control them”
This was said by Giovanni, who is making the point that power can be dangerous unless properly controlled.

This was said by Brock, who is a known food-lover. This is just one of my favorites from the series that I wanted to include.
6) “Everybody makes a wrong turn once in a while”
This was said by Ash Ketchum and is good advice. You are allowed to make mistakes but make sure that you learn and grow from them. Make sure to not make the same mistake twice.
7) “Do you always need a reason to help somebody?”
This was said by Ash Ketchum and it is another great line. There doesn’t need to be a reason for you to help someone or do a good deed. You should just help someone because it is the right thing to do, not because you will get something out of it.
8) “Even If we don’t understand each other, that’s not a reason to reject each other. There are two sides to any argument. Is there one point of view that has all the answers? Give it some thought.”
This was said by Alder, who is the Champion of the Unova region. This is a great saying and can really apply to your everyday life. There are always two sides to an argument and it is best to be open to learn more about opposing views than to completely reject them. You can disagree but there should be room to understand and learn from one another’s point of views.
9) “A Caterpie may change into a Butterfree, but the heart that beats inside remains the same”
This was said by Brock and is another great line. Just because a person changes up their appearance, they are still the same person as they were before on the inside. This means that you can not always judge a book by its cover.
10) “Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with all their favorites.”
This was said by Karen and is one of my favorites from the series. When playing the video games, I always like to use my favorite Pokemon, instead of using the best ones in the game. It always is more rewarding to beat the game with your favorites than with the most powerful.
